Worth saying plainly because it is behind a large share of avoidable failures. Wipes are the main one, including the ones sold as flushable, which are flushable in the sense that they leave the house and not in any sense that matters afterwards. Grease is the second. Paper towel, feminine products, cat litter and cooking fat after that.
The other one people miss is water. A running toilet or a dripping fill valve puts a continuous stream into a tank that is sized for intermittent use, and it can fill a system on its own. One customer here was told after a pump out that a faulty toilet flapper was quietly running into the tank, called a plumber, and had it confirmed.
